This women put a mini lawn inside her home! It's made of moss and some trailing plants. In the summer it helps keep the house cooler and in the winter warmer. It cleans the air in her house as well. Even with the energy costs of having the new space in her home, and the pumps to keep the irrigation system working and keeping the house from rotting, she still saves money on her energy bills, that is so impressive! It was very expensive, she put in when adding an addition to her home. It would be tricky to do in an existing home. But I just thought it was fantastic anyways. I'm not sure I could ever do something this large, since I will probably own a condo or very small home. But at least some living area inside my house was be fantastic.
