nope

Hey everyone.

So while Tanner was here two girls knocked on my door. They are Chinese students here at the University "on a mission to make English speaking friends." They were sweet, and I gave them my number. We hung out the day after Tanner left actually. They had been sending me text messages and were very determined to meet me. I took a bus to the new campus of SU where they live. We then all took a bus for half an hour to a local village. It's called HuangLongXi. It has a very well preserved old town, and really does look lovely. There are narrow alleys between two story old style Chinese buildings. My guide book says it's been used in over 150 movies. What it didn't mention was that every single building is either selling things to tourists or is an over priced place to eat. It was a very odd day. Michelle and Allan, my two new girl friends, are pretty nice. I'll write more about them another time.

Michelle really wanted to dress up in a costume and get our photos taken, I agreed.
