Horse Show

I have a friend in town here, Ingrid. We met at Emerson, back in 2004. I left, she stayed, but we stayed in touch. She ended up in north Texas, went back to school, got married to Josh. But shew grew up in Richmond, and her family is still here. She came back for a visit, and ended up landing a dream job. So Ingrid and Josh live here now, they arrived shortly after we did.

She rides horses! She recently set up a lease to own on Ruby Redbird. She is just starting to compete at horse shows. She does dressage, stadium jumping and cross country.

This is the cross country course. It extends back on the right into other fields. I didn't know cross country jumping was even a thing. It is Ingrid and Ruby's favorite. And was really fun to watch. 

It was really fun to go see her. It was only half an hour from our house, but out in the far suburbs. We had beautiful weather. I got sunburned! In November! Standing out in the sun for three hours will do that I guess.
