DAY FOUR

TYPHOON LAGOON!!!!!!

Oh man! We had so much fun. We arrived early and bought tickets. We were possibly the 30th and 31st person into the park. We got a beautiful spot, with two full deck chairs in a sandy cul-de-sac near the back of the park. We were under a variety of trees, so we had shade all day.
We LOVED the rides. We rode all three of the routes on Crush n Gusher. It is a powerful ride, you sit on two person inner tubes, and they send you down and then back up, so you fly around and it feels like a roller coaster. Every time I would get nervous and sick to my stomach. Then during the drops I would scream "I hate rides" or "I hate this" or "I want to go home." Then we would run back onto line and do it again. We also loved the body slides, you ride down on these on your back. They were steep but not too steep, and you fly around the corners. They had three routes on those slides, we did all three, and one of them twice. We tried two of the other tube rides. Tanner did the speed slide once, which he thought was okay, but we were both glad I didn't have to do it.

They wave pool really is HUGE. The waves it creates are huge too. We had fun. We waded out pretty deep, and the wave pushes you so far. We both banged into to some other people. But we got out unhurt. We also snorkeled with sharks and tropical fish. I was really bad at it. I panicked a little and had a hard time not hyperventilating. I have never snorkeled before. It was beautiful though.

We managed to ride almost everything once and some things twice. We also rested. We ate our picnic lunch. We did sunscreen three times but I still got a little burnt on the back of my shoulders and face. Our feet got really sore from the gritty cement and hot sand. We LOVED being in our swimsuits all day in the warm weather, it feels really fun. Tanner got too hot and sweaty a few times, but he managed all right.

We loved the attention to detail that Disney put into the park. It was beautiful and fun. There was something to look at everywhere. It also served alcohol, so we got to sit and have a beer in the afternoon.

I was talking to Tanner about how I would like to write better blog entries. The ones I wrote in China were sometimes really well done. But we are always rushing around and just don't have time. I hope it's fun to read anyways.
