Interview with Tanner
Callista: What are you doing right now?
Tanner: Packing!
C: How are you feeling about our trip to Florida?
T: Pretty super, also, still a little disappointed, but only slightly.
C: Why did you decide we should stick with our original plans, and not change them to see the delayed shuttle launch?
T: I was really excited about spending time with you (Callista) and doing all those fun things. And, changing our plans would mean not doing that. Also, our plans were already so last minute, and booked in a way that it was really expensive to change anything.
C: Do you still want to go to Kennedy Space Center despite the fact we won't see the launch?
T: Yeah. That might be the closest I get. I would still like to learn as much as I can, experience as much as I can.
C: What are you most looking forward to about our vacation?
T: Exploring, and having fun with you (Callista).
C: What places or plans are you are most excited about?
T: [ long pause ] Going on low intensity thrill rides with you, such as small roller coasters and water slides.
C: [ laughing ] Why are you excited about that?
T: It sounds like fun, something that we don't do very often.
C: Can you explain why you said "low intensity?"
T: Because Callista doesn't have fun on high intensity thrill rides.
C: You are more excited to do that then going to Kennedy, or Epcot, or kayaking?
T: Um. Those sound really fun to. I think I might be secretly guarded against enjoying Kennedy too much, but, I really enjoy having fun with you.
C: How do you feel about our flight leaving at 6:15 tomorrow morning?
T: It's super early. I suppose I will got to bed tonight, it should make for a more lengthy evening then we would have otherwise had.
C: Anything you would like to add?
T: When you read that back (the interview) it sounds really boring.
